Cost of iPhone in Thailand
In Thailand, iPhones come unlocked and so are not subsidized by their carriers. At the moment, 3GS handsets still cost 24,500 baht (16GB) and 28,500 baht (32GB). This price doesn't include 7% VAT. If you buy with a data package then you will save about 1,000 baht or so.
The iPhone 4 is expected to come out in Thailand in September 2010. It is expected to be priced at the entry price for the 3GS (see above) and so then the 3GS will drop in price around the same time.

Cost of iPad in Thailand
You cannot officially buy the iPad in Thailand. We are expecting iStudio to be selling these by August 2010. In the meantime, you can buy overpriced units in places like MBK and Fortune Tower.
Here is a rough guide:
iPad 64GB 3G = THB 40,000
iPad 32GB 3G = THB 36,000
iPad 32GB Wifi = THB 30,000
iPad 16GB Wifi = THB 24,500
