At the moment you can buy the normal SIM cards and data packages for the iPhone 3G even if you didn't buy the iPhone from them. However, it is slightly more expensive. I believe that they are now doing the same with the Micro Sim cards for the iPad and the upcoming iPhone 4. Incidentally, I am told True and DTAC won't be selling the iPad in Thailand as it will be sold exclusively by iStudio. More news on that soon.

do you think that true and dtac will give options for those people who bought their device from overseas or business travelers who are only visiting Thailand the option of a micro sim-only contract? or will they only sell mircosim cards with iphone data plan if you buy their iphone also? Thoughts?
