Win Guidebook Apps for the iPhone

Posted on July 2, 2010

Some of the best guidebooks apps out there for the iPhone are produced by Travelfish. We have most of them on our iPhone and are looking forward to testing them in the field soon.

The kind folks at Travelfish have given us some free apps to give away in a competition on our iPhone blog. We have one app for each of the following four guidebooks:

To enter the competition is very easy. All you have to do is post a comment saying which iPhone guidebook app you would like. If you want all five apps then you need to post a comment five times. Each time naming a different guidebook. We will enter all the names into a hat and the first person we pick for each guidebook gets the app! Closing date for this competition is the evening of Monday 5th July 2010.

The Angkor Wat and Luang Prabang guidebooks are normally priced at $5.99 and the others are at $3.99. However, they are having a limited time sale on some of the guidebooks at the moment and so if you don't win the competition, the I suggest you buy some of these excellent guidebook apps while the price is right! Coming soon are guidebooks for Ko Tao and Ko Pha Ngan. A guidebook for Chiang Mai will be released later in the year.

  6. Always nie to See competitions like this. I’m interested in the Ko Samet Guide.

  7. To see the magnificent Khmer ruins of Angkor Wat and to experience one of the most magical places on earth, replete with the ghosts of the past and memories of a great, lost civilization will be a truly epic, reflective, exciting life experience. This, combined with the beautiful heat, sounds, sights and the interaction with the people of rural Cambodia makes my feverish anticipation of my forthcoming trip towards the end of this year almost unbearable, but made more bearable if I were to be a proud possessor of the Angkor Wat guidebook. In possession of such a unique treasure my pilgrimage to this hallowed ground would be blessed one thousandfold. I wait, in trembling anticipation, to know if the munificence and benevolence of Richard Barrow will be bestowed upon this mere mortal.
